Eye care, reimagined.
Eye care should be personal, proactive and focused on your long term health. From the moment you arrive our goal is an environment where you feel welcomed, respected and genuinely cared for. We take the time to listen, explain your eye health clearly and understand your visual needs, your goals and your lifestyle. You are not another appointment on the schedule.
More than a prescription.
Ocular wellness means seeing the bigger picture: how your eyes function, how they feel and how they support your overall health and daily life. A comprehensive examination can reveal early signs of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma and retinal disease, often before symptoms are noticed anywhere else.
Ocular health and wellness

Comprehensive examinations
Your eyes tell a bigger story than your prescription. Every examination is built to evaluate your total eye health, so concerns are found early and your care plan supports long term wellness.

Disease management
Care for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes. Regular exams and advanced imaging let us detect changes early and help protect your vision lifelong.

Dry eye
Burning, watering, gritty eyes are not something you have to live with. Our dry eye assessments identify the root cause and set out treatment options tailored to you.
Contact lenses
We fit and prescribe soft, rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, including multifocals. New wearers are taught how to insert, remove and care for lenses before they head home.
Macular degeneration
We monitor and manage age related macular degeneration with advanced imaging to detect changes early, with several in house treatment options including MacuMira.
Technology with purpose
We invest in advanced diagnostic imaging because prevention starts with finding change early. Then we take the time to explain the findings and what they mean for your health and vision.
Eyewear and family care

Eyewear studio
We partner exclusively with independent eyewear brands for their handmade craftsmanship, sustainable materials and original design. Our opticians hand select every piece, then help you find frames that fit your face and reflect your personality.
Eye Spy Kids Clinic
Children should have their first comprehensive eye exam between six and twelve months, again between two and five years, and annually once they start school. Exams are gentle, engaging and tailored to your child's age, even for babies and non verbal children.
Myopia control
Specialty contact lenses that help slow the progression of myopia are available here, alongside myopia management and support for visual therapy through the kids clinic.

Contacted West 5 Optometry on a Tuesday for appointments for myself and my wife and we were accommodated with appointments on Thursday of the same week with Dr. Reiger. The facility is conveniently located easily accessible with ample free parking. It is inviting, exceptionally clean and very well equipped.
